A very quaint, out-of-the-way restaurant built into an old church. The coffee was hot and the breakfast was delicious! They also bake fresh donuts, which are fantastic. I would highly recommend this on a nice morning out.
We absolutely love Shelly’s for the wonderful service, delicious homey food, and beautiful atmosphere. The Christmas decorations are always over the top and are entertaining just to walk around to look at. We have been going here for years and enjoy the takeout dinner which they now do on Fridays. We recently hosted a baby shower for family including a “high tea” service and the attention to detail was impeccable. Everyone enjoyed the food, tea (we all got our own pot), and it was an event to remember. Thank you so much to Shelly and her team. We will always be big supporters and will continue to bring our family and friends for our breakfasts out! Wednesday mornings are always a special treat with live music.
We had a meeting and lunch at Shelly's and it turned into an engagement party! The food was fantastic, the staff were incredible and Shelly was an amazing hostess for a very special moment. We've been there many times in the past too and she and her crew NEVER disappoint! We will continue to go there whenever we can! Oh yes, and their menu and specials are terrific, huge helpings, home baked pies and the price is very reasonable.
Great diner food in a converted country church! Omelette is a good 20% tastier than the usual chains. Eggs were really well prepared in general. Really neat atmosphere!

What an absolute gem out in the country near Cayuga. Wednesday morning specials, live music (folk,country), incredible food, very reasonable pricing, little shop with local products, great coffee and attentive, upbeat and super nice service. I have been to many restaurants but for all things considered this was one of the most fun and delicious places I have ever been to and it will not be my last time there by any means. Heading back next week with 4 more of us as it was that amazing...at least for us.
Shelly’s Family Dining has the greatest food. It’s worth the drive to Kohler!
Tasty food, friendly staff and sweet decor. A really nice breakfast/lunch place. Clean well taken care of bathrooms too. 7am to 2pm Closed Thursdays.
